Emile Lafrenais, North Pointer, class of 1948 was born in Burma. His family trekked from Yangon to Calcutta over the ‘hump’ of the Eastern Himalayas during the Second World War. After reaching Calcutta his father enrolled him into North Point.

After school Emile migrated to London working there for several years after which he moved to southern California. He has been living in Los Angeles for more than 50 years.

He connected strongly with the alumni network in 2002 and thereafter attended several US and international alumni reunions.

Emile was born on December 04, 1935 and as of this writing is the oldest living North Pointer.
