Commitment to Our Alma Mater

A Generous Contribution by Mr. Tamding Tempo (Batch of 1962)

Contribution towards Alumni Rooms – Rs. 2.5 Lakh

I joined NP in 1957 and completed my Senior Cambridge in 1962. I was part of O’Neil House and had the privilege of serving as House Captain in my final year. Those were the remarkable years of Fr. Van Wallengham and Mr. Chandan Singh, a time when NP rose to become a formidable soccer power. I look back on those days with deep fondness and remain grateful for the invaluable education and experiences that shaped my life.

With the same spirit of gratitude, I am pleased to contribute towards the development of the Alumni Room. I hope that this space becomes a home for every NP boy who returns—where conversations flow easily, stories are passed on, and generations of alumni feel the warmth of belonging. May it grow into a place that reflects our shared pride and keeps the NP spirit alive through every meeting, memory, and milestone.

Recalling my years in school continues to fill me with joy and appreciation. NP taught me lessons far beyond the classroom—discipline, camaraderie, responsibility, and the courage to aim higher. My wish is that the school continues to inspire young students, just as it inspired us all those years ago.
