Commitment to Our Alma Mater

Gratitude to Mr. Ian Prossor (Batch of 1981)
Contribution towards Alumni Rooms – Rs. 2.5 Lakh

We are pleased to acknowledge the generous contribution of Rs. 2.5 lakh from Mr. Ian Prossor, a proud alumnus of St. Joseph’s School, North Point, who joined the institution in 1973 and graduated in 1981. His support towards the development of the Alumni Rooms reflects not only his loyalty to his alma mater but also his deep-rooted connection to the North Point community.

Currently residing between Kent, England and Lalitpur, Nepal, Mr. Prossor proudly identifies himself as a true North Pointer. His ties to the region run deep — his father was a tea plantation manager and his mother hailed from Darjeeling. Over the past eight years, Ian has played an instrumental role in nurturing the North Point spirit abroad by organizing the London North Point reunions, which have grown into cherished occasions for our overseas alumni.

A devoted family man, Ian shares his life with his wife Puspa Prossor and daughter Supriya Rai. Professionally, he works as a Project Manager for a construction company in the UK, bringing the same dedication and discipline to his career that he has always shown to the North Point cause.

His contribution is not just financial—it is also symbolic of the enduring bonds shared by the North Point brotherhood across generations and geographies. We are deeply grateful for Mr. Ian Prossor’s unwavering support, and we proudly recognize his role in helping shape the future of alumni engagement at North Point.
