SAVE THE DATE!!!

The Global Reunion of St. Joseph’s School, North Point, and Loreto Convent is set to be a monumental event, bringing together alumni from across the world to celebrate the legacy of two of Darjeeling’s most esteemed institutions. From March 21 to March 29, 2026, this reunion promises a blend of nostalgia, camaraderie, and celebration as former students reconnect and create lasting memories.

The event will take place in the serene and picturesque settings of Darjeeling and Gangtok, providing a perfect backdrop for alumni to relive their school days while exploring the breathtaking landscapes of these hill stations. Alumni from both St. Joseph’s School and Loreto Convent will gather for a joint celebration, fostering a spirit of unity and togetherness.

The week-long reunion will feature a mix of activities, including school visits, cultural performances, and interactive events. The participants will have the opportunity to revisit the iconic classrooms, playgrounds, and auditoriums that shaped their early years. Additionally, planned excursions to nearby attractions such as, Batasia Loop, and Changu Lake will offer stunning views of the Himalayas and allow for a deeper connection with the natural beauty of the region.

For alumni of both institutions, this reunion will be more than just an event—it’s an opportunity to rekindle old friendships, network with like-minded individuals, and celebrate the values instilled in them during their formative years at St. Joseph’s and Loreto Convent. The reunion will culminate in a grand gala that will serve as a tribute to the enduring legacy of these two schools, their contributions to the community, and the lifelong bonds formed within their walls.

TRAVEL NOTES

We will inaugurate our 11th Global Reunion bash with a sparkling Welcome Dinner in the school we were all an integral part of in our younger days. Be prepared for our traditional Silent Auction that will be held on the night of Day 4. 

After a four-day immersion within the warm embrace of our very own hills , we will all depart for exotic Sikkim with its alluring capital city of Gangtok.

To herald in our last night of revelry: music, dance and cuisine will be the order of the day for our Gala Farewell Dinner which has in the past been at times tearful, oftentimes wildly reminiscing but mostly pure simple fun and much laughter.

FIGHTS

So, Kind folks, please complete and fill in your arrival and departure forms for those opting for the Outstation Plan. Do get flights that arrive in the morning so you get to the hotel early enough for a rest before you kick into high gear for the Welcome Dinner. Otherwise arrive a day earlier.

DRINKS

As in the past during our meals alcoholic drinks are on own account and covered under the registration fees.

SILENT AUCTION

Get ready for our traditional silent auction, like the ones we have always done in past reunions. IT’S ON!

We will hold a silent auction on Day 4 so please bring a long any memorabilia, artifacts, antiques, curios, handicrafts, keepsakes, treasures, heirlooms, collections or just plain ole ornery gifts that you want to donate for the auction. You don’t have to, only if you want to. The proceeds as usual shall go to the school’s various projects.

The items up for auction will be displayed on tables. There will be a bid sheet that will describe your item. Interested bidders saunter around the room and write in their bids. Watch the outbidders hovering around.

 At closing time the written bids then convert up to a verbal  auction.
