ANNOUNCEMENT
Calling all NP Alumni - everywhere!
SUBJECT: NP reunion/fundraising in NYC on Sat 9/11/2004 with Fr Van.
This is to announce that the Eastern US section of the NPAA(USA) is planning to
have an alumni reunion and fundraising event with Fr Van in attendance on Sat
Sept 11th, 2004. All NP alumni and "friends", from anywhere at all, are
cordially invited to join us at the lovely apartment of Dinyar Devitre in NYC.

Note: Food and drinks will be provided by our gracious hosts -
the Devitre's.
The primary purpose of this event is to provide an alternate forum for the many
alumni who, for whatever reasons, are unable to attend the Toronto reunion. Fr
Van will be in attendance and we also hope to have Nancy Yambem join us on this
anniversary of the tragic loss of her husband, Jupiter. We also hope that Fr Van
will be able to give us a presentation on the progress of the tremendous North
Point rebuilding effort that he has undertaken.
The secondary purpose is to have a fundraising drive to help Fr Van to continue
his valiant efforts to complete his vision of a new NP. To this end, we are once
again going to suggest a target donation amount of $300 from each alumni - of
course those who are able to give more are encouraged to please be as generous
as you can.
It has come to the attention of the NPAA that a few alumni are upset about the
lack of accounting of donated funds and their disbursement. Fr Van has
responded to this issue via E-mail to a few of us but at this time we are going
to ask him to draft a more formal response which hopefully we can
broadcast worldwide via the various NP web sites.
