Here are the feedback results from North Pointers fed into the Feedback Form. Feel free to contact the sender. Comments received from Ravi Thapa on December 15, 2004
I have just returned from a nostalgic visit to North Point and another
delightful meeting with Father Van and Father Kinley. North Point is today as
we have always known it to be...great !
Very briefly: I feel we, now on outside of the Twin Towers, can help towards
finding appropriate opportunities for our graduating seniors (institutions for
higher learning) and job options for those graduating from our College. I have
initiated dialogue with people in the Tea Trade at Calcutta, where I had spent
20 odd years. While these openings could be as Tea Tasters, Planters, etc, I am
sure there are North Pointers in many other fields who, and through their
contacts, could facilitate interviews, placement etc to deserving candidates.
Maybe formats of job requirement, likely dates of interviews etc could be sent
to North Point. Depending on the number of suitable persons, campus interviews
could be arranged. Our local chapters can develop a catalogue, identifying
organizations, vacancies, contact people, etc.
I do believe we can MAKE THIS HAPPEN where all we need to do is to send information about opportunities available. I look forward to hearing from you so that we can take this further. You guys have seen so much more. You, Ashok, are, in my opinion, a true catalyst. Let us make an effort to help our "...fellow men....." where they need it most.
More soon.
Wishing you and your near and dear ones a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a super NEW
YEAR . Maybe we can help bring cheer to many North Pointers during the New
Year.
Regards
